Three countries. Four days. Six modes of transportation. Two missed flights. This week of travel was spent exploring as much of Budapest and Brussels as possible. From international flights to aimless wandering on foot, thousands of miles were covered in a very limited timespan. By taking note of the means of transportation, this trip created additional research for the current studio project in the works, in which we are focusing primarily on groundscapes and transitions. Each sight varied drastically in both groundscapes and accessibility of transportation, and with each mode came a new transition of landscape. We have illustrated a graphic narrative that documents our time in each city and represents our journey from Berlin to Budapest, Budapest to Brussels, and Brussels back to Berlin.
